About Loxo

Loxo is an AI-driven Talent Intelligence Platform building the future of recruitment. By unifying ATS (Applicant Tracking System), CRM, sourcing, and workflow automation into a single platform, Loxo helps recruitment agencies and enterprise hiring teams discover, engage, and hire top talent faster. We are a fast-scaling, product-led company where engineering plays a direct role in driving platform performance and customer impact.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and scale high-throughput web applications, AI integration pipelines, and data systems. In this role, you will work end-to-end across our tech stack to ship resilient features, optimize backend queries across millions of profiles, and improve product usability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Architect, code, and deploy scalable features across Loxo’s core SaaS platform.
  • Data & AI Infrastructure: Assist in building and maintaining pipelines that power sourcing algorithms, resume parsing, and AI matching engines.
  • API & Integrations: Build secure, reliable integrations with third-party tools, communications platforms, and external APIs.
  • System Performance: Optimize database queries, backend endpoints, and frontend rendering to ensure real-time responsiveness across large talent databases.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, UX designers, and senior engineers to translate customer needs into clean, maintainable code.
  • Engineering Quality: Write clean, unit-tested, and well-documented code while participating in code reviews and continuous delivery processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–5+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade web applications.
  • Core Tech Stack: Proficiency in modern full-stack web frameworks (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, Elixir, or React).
  • Database & Search: Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and search engines (Elasticsearch or similar).
  • API Design: Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, asynchronous job processing, and microservice architecture patterns.
  • Data & Systems: Comfort working with large datasets, distributed systems, or messaging queues.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, high-autonomy startup environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with AI/ML integrations, LLMs, or NLP-based data parsing.
  • Prior background in HR Tech, ATS/CRM platforms, or enterprise B2B SaaS.
  • Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, GCP, or Docker/Kubernetes.
