• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans for clients.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain clinical competency by participating in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions.
• Document all clinical interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to create comprehensive care strategies that promote positive client outcomes.

As an LPC with Balanced Minds Counseling, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. We aim to provide services to those who often encounter barriers to accessing mental healthcare, ensuring they receive the support they need in a compassionate and understanding environment.

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, ideally within a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical frameworks that govern mental health practice.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse client populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing to client care discussions and strategies.
• Proficiency with EMR software and other relevant clinical tools.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is preferred.
• Prior experience in a remote work environment is beneficial, with a focus on self-discipline and effective time management.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on experience and the caseload.
