• Provide direct individual and group therapy sessions to clients, employing evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, ensuring compliance with agency and state licensing standards.
• Engage actively in treatment teams, offering insights and collaboration to enhance patient treatment plans and facilitate effective discharge planning.
• Participate in on-unit programming, including training new team members and staying updated on the latest developments in mental health care.
• Attend scheduled meetings and conferences to enhance interdisciplinary communication and promote collective goals for patient recovery.

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will be working with a varied client population, including individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related issues.
