Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging individual and group therapy to a diverse range of clients, addressing various mental health challenges and implementing evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, abiding by agency guidelines and licensing regulations, to maintain exceptional standards of care.
  • Contribute to collaborative treatment plans through active participation in interdisciplinary meetings, providing insights and fostering holistic patient recovery.
  • Assist with on-unit programming and training initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development among team members.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support and the best possible outcomes.
  • Monitor client progress, adjust treatment as necessary, and engage in meaningful consultations with fellow counselors and psychiatrists.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is instrumental in serving a broad spectrum of clients, including those experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma-related conditions. You will be responsible for providing targeted interventions that enhance coping skills and promote resilience. Our focus is on creating a safe space for clients, encouraging their engagement in the therapeutic process and empowering them on their path to wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must hold current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
Preferred Experience
  • A demonstrated track record of successful outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders or anxiety-related issues.
  • Experience providing culturally competent care to clients from various backgrounds and life experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to establish rapport, trust, and understanding with clients.
