Position Overview

Catalina Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time remote position based in Vancouver, Washington. In this vital role, the LMHC will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer therapeutic support to clients facing diverse emotional and psychological challenges. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans.
  • Completing essential documentation in a timely manner while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Utilizing evidence-based screening tools to ensure effective clinical interventions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement positive behavior support plans tailored to clientsโ€™ needs.
  • Engaging actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold service quality.
  • Acting as a liaison to state agencies and community partners, fostering collaboration and strengthening service networks.
  • Maintaining effective communication with team members to meet contract standards and further the mission of Catalina Behavioral Health.
  • Building relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance program visibility and secure new partnerships.
  • Participating in professional development activities, including attending conferences and statewide meetings relevant to mental health.
  • Upholding the agency's mission, values, and principles in all interactions.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMHC will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing mental health disorders, those seeking recovery from substance use, and clients with unique developmental challenges. Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must hold:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a mental health-related field.
  • An Independent LMHC License, valid in Washington State.
Preferred Experience

While a Masterโ€™s Degree and LMHC license are minimum requirements, candidates should ideally possess experience in behavioral health settings or community health clinics. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and crisis intervention techniques will be advantageous.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
