This full-time remote position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the mental health and well-being of our clients. As an LPC, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services tailored to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families. Your clinical expertise will guide patients in their journey towards personal growth and emotional resilience.

About the Organization

Catalina Behavioral Health is a community-focused health clinic dedicated to improving access to quality mental health care for underserved populations. Our team is composed of skilled professionals who are passionate about promoting personal development through evidence-based practices. We aim to create an inclusive environment that fosters open communication and collaboration among both staff and clients, ensuring holistic and effective treatment plans.

Work Environment

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your own home while still connecting with clients and colleagues. We understand the importance of work-life balance; thus, our flexible scheduling allows you to tailor your work hours to fit your lifestyle. You will have the support of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals who work together to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, families, and groups, focusing on fostering trust and rapport while addressing mental health challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and peer supervision to stay abreast of emerging trends and research in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals and families grappling with a wide range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. You will play a pivotal role in addressing the mental health disparities faced by these communities, as many clients may have limited access to traditional mental health services.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for relevant clinical experience in a community health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health care, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, incorporating various perspectives and expertise to enhance client care.
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other technological tools to manage client information effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those facing socio-economic barriers to mental health services.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, dependent on your experience and caseload. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance, malpractice insurance coverage, and substantial client referrals. To support your professional growth, we also assist with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care and less on administrative tasks.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Catalina Behavioral Health, we prioritize the growth and development of our team members. As part of our commitment to fostering professional advancement, we offer various opportunities for continued education and specialized training. Engaging in our development programs can enhance your clinical skills and help you stay current with best practices in mental health, positioning you well for future leadership roles within the organization.
