As a remote member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, and other mental health specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and concurrent mental health issues, tailoring your approach to meet individual client needs.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote recovery.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the delivery of integrated and coordinated care, actively participating in case consultations and team meetings.
• Educating and supporting clients' families, helping to foster engagement in the recovery process and ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring documentation is timely and effective.

Your expertise will primarily focus on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. Many clients may have co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Your role will be vital in understanding their unique experiences and providing the necessary support to help break the cycle of addiction and facilitate recovery.

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated competency through specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and treatment.
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork capabilities, fostering positive collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in a community health setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be highly regarded. Additional experience leading therapy group sessions and delivering psychoeducation will enhance your application.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
