What is a full time remote RN?

A Full Time Remote RN is a registered nurse who works full time from a non-traditional setting, such as their home, using technology to provide patient care, education, and support. These nurses may work in roles like telehealth, case management, triage, or patient education, communicating with patients and healthcare teams through phone, video, or online platforms. Remote RNs must be licensed and have strong communication and technical skills to deliver high-quality care outside of a traditional clinical environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time remote RN?

To thrive as a Full Time Remote RN, you need a valid RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience in telehealth or remote patient care. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, EHR systems, and secure communication tools is essential. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills help you deliver effective patient care while working independently. These skills and qualities are vital to ensure patient safety, maintain high care standards, and succeed in a remote healthcare environment.

How do full time remote RNs typically collaborate with healthcare teams and patients while working from home?

Full Time Remote RNs often use secure digital platforms to communicate with physicians, care managers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care coordination. They may conduct virtual patient assessments, manage follow-ups, and document care plans electronically. As a licensed therapist, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the recovery journeys of clients, fostering long-lasting and fulfilling sobriety.

About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is a respected leader in providing comprehensive care for those struggling with substance abuse. Our mission is to offer compassionate, evidence-based treatment that addresses both addiction and the underlying mental health concerns that often accompany it. We pride ourselves on our commitment to client-centered care and our dedication to helping individuals reclaim their lives through recovery. Join a team that values collaboration, respect, and a shared mission to facilitate healing.

Work Environment

As a remote member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, and other mental health specialists. The work environment is designed to be safe, therapeutic, and supportive, allowing you to focus on your clinical practice while engaging in meaningful interactions with fellow team members. Flexible scheduling is available, including options for evenings and weekends, ensuring that you can maintain a healthy work-life balance while still making a powerful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and mental health status.
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and concurrent mental health issues, tailoring your approach to meet individual client needs.
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote recovery.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure the delivery of integrated and coordinated care, actively participating in case consultations and team meetings.
  • Educating and supporting clients' families, helping to foster engagement in the recovery process and ensuring a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with all regulatory standards, ensuring documentation is timely and effective.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily focus on individuals dealing with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. Many clients may have co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Your role will be vital in understanding their unique experiences and providing the necessary support to help break the cycle of addiction and facilitate recovery.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency through specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and treatment.
  • In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
  • Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward recovery.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork capabilities, fostering positive collaboration across a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in a community health setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be highly regarded. Additional experience leading therapy group sessions and delivering psychoeducation will enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition to competitive pay, Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement planning, and generous paid time off. We support your career development with opportunities for professional growth and further training in addiction counseling, as well as access to ongoing resources in the field.
