Massachusetts LICSW Needed for Full-Time Remote Therapy Position
Job Summary
This remote Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker position focuses on providing structured, client-centered therapy to individuals seeking mental health support across Massachusetts. As part of this role, you will conduct virtual sessions, assess client needs, build treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic care through a secure online setting.
The work is practical, people-focused, and clinically meaningful. You will help clients better understand their challenges, build coping strategies, and move toward healthier patterns in their day-to-day lives.
Location: Massachusetts
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients virtually for scheduled therapy sessions
  • Conduct initial evaluations to understand clinical needs, background, and presenting concerns
  • Prepare individualized treatment plans with clear goals and measurable progress markers
  • Provide therapy for clients managing mood concerns, stress, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, and other mental health needs
  • Track treatment progress and update clinical notes in a timely manner
  • Document assessments, interventions, treatment updates, and client responses accurately
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA-compliant telehealth practices
  • Use sound clinical judgment when responding to risk, crisis concerns, or changes in client presentation
  • Stay aligned with professional and ethical standards for LICSW practice in Massachusetts

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW license
  • Previous experience providing therapy, counseling, or clinical social work services
  • Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional clinical standards
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions
