Job description

REMOTE = Project Site and Main Office or Home


Job Summary

Provides construction related technical and administrative services on designated projects so that goals and objectives of project are accomplished.

Essential Functions

  • Provide technical support for any construction related matters
  • Observe construction activities at project site
  • Process project communications between contractor, client and designer including requests for information, submittals, design clarifications and change order request
  • Maintain online project files and document tracking
  • May prepare quantity take-offs and estimates for change orders
  • May be responsible for review of the contractors baseline and monthly update schedules
  • Maintain as-builts
  • Assist with interpretation of project plans and specifications
  • Assist with the preparation of claims and claim evaluation to determine merit
  • Operates under close supervision with detailed instruction on all tasks
  • Follows established procedures on routine tasks
  • Make decisions based on instruction given

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, construction management or architecture or have two years of similar technical experience.
  • Skilled in presenting complex data, verbal and written, to diverse stakeholders
  • Member of 1 professional organization
  • Working knowledge of Office 365
  • Knowledge of Procore or similar construction management software and Primavera P6 scheduling software is desirable
  • Position will periodically require travel between project sites; it is the individuals responsibly to provide their own transportation for such purposes, requiring an unsuspended and unrestricted drivers license.
