Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health status to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, adapting your approach to best suit each client's needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients, integrating insights from other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with state regulations and company policies, while managing the associated documentation efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Life Edge, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their mental health challenges while fostering resilience and personal growth. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting, is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience with telehealth delivery models and familiarity with secure video conferencing platforms will be advantageous.
