Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and formulate tailored therapeutic strategies.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in continuous education through workshops and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health.
• Support clients in crisis situations by employing acute intervention strategies and developing long-term support plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate holistic approaches in client care, addressing both mental and emotional health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, many of whom are underserved and face barriers to accessing mental health care. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to the practice of counseling.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Background in community mental health settings or outpatient clinics, working with caseloads reflective of our client demographics.

• Attractive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
