Our practice operates in a remote telehealth environment, leveraging technology to deliver mental health services to clients throughout the state. The designated work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility for evening sessions as patient needs arise.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological health, discussing symptoms, history, and personal goals to formulate an accurate diagnosis.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to provide effective interventions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through emotional challenges, enhancing their coping skills, and fostering a supportive community.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, responding to changes in patients’ conditions promptly.
• Support crisis intervention efforts during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate assistance.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and collaborative approaches to treatment.
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and legal regulations in mental health therapy to continually enhance service quality.

In this role, you will primarily serve adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Our clients include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders, as well as those seeking personal development and coping strategies. By employing a trauma-informed approach and fostering trust, you will help empower our patients to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a master’s or doctoral degree in these areas.
• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas is necessary to practice.
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to conduct meaningful evaluations and establish thorough treatment plans.
• Excellent communication abilities that enhance engagement with clients and foster therapeutic relationships.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with electronic health record (EHR) systems, to maintain meticulous documentation.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, showcasing applicable expertise in the field.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy using various evidence-based modalities is beneficial.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches and effective crisis management techniques will enhance patient outcomes.
