This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to deliver high-quality counseling services from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Design individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' personal goals and therapeutic needs, integrating evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, using interactive techniques to engage clients and encourage active participation in their healing process.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health crises, employing de-escalation strategies and developing safety plans as needed.
  • Document all client interactions in a secure electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining detailed and confidential records that comply with HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive care plans and ensure the highest quality support for our clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed choices about their care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on mental health trends, attending workshops and training sessions that enhance your expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You may also work with couples and families facing relational challenges, requiring you to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the varied needs of your clients effectively.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in accordance with state regulations.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
