As a Full-Time Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting one-on-one therapy sessions through secure video conferencing, ensuring a supportive online environment.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment methods tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant approaches.
• Designing individualized therapy plans that align specifically with clients' goals and life circumstances.
• Encouraging clients to adopt healthier coping mechanisms and lifestyle changes to enhance their emotional resilience.
• Regularly assessing client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care outcomes.

Our clientele includes diverse individuals, ranging from adolescents facing transitional challenges to adults navigating complex life events and mental health disorders. You will encounter a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and relationship issues. The flexible nature of remote therapy allows you to engage with clients across different geographic locations, thus broadening your therapeutic impact.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and maintain self-discipline in a remote work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a strong foundation in various therapeutic techniques that foster client engagement.
• Comfortable utilizing telehealth tools and platforms, ensuring you can deliver therapy effectively through virtual means.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and an understanding of cultural competence in treating diverse populations.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
