Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms, ensuring a safe space for clients to express their concerns.
• Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, to facilitate effective engagement with clients.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that are specific to each client’s unique needs and goals, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
• Guide clients in gaining insights into their feelings, experiences, and relational dynamics, strengthening their understanding of their mental health.
• Regularly assess client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, focusing on empowering clients to develop healthy coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clientele will consist of adults exhibiting stable, low-acuity mental health issues. The role involves helping these clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship difficulties. Our objective is to assist individuals in enhancing their quality of life by equipping them with essential life skills and therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related field (Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology).
• A current state-issued license to practice independently as a mental health counselor. Eligible licenses include LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC. Please include your credentials and the licensed state in your application.
• No provisional or limited licenses are accepted. Candidates must not have any disciplinary actions on their records.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Strong computer proficiency to facilitate remote consultations, with a reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities.
• Access to a stable internet connection to support smooth video sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience providing mental health counseling, especially in a remote environment, is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy technologies is advantageous.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele and understanding of cultural competencies in mental health care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, based on your experience and hours worked. Our package includes a generous sign-on bonus and the convenience of weekly direct deposit for your earnings. You will also receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support your well-being.
