Position Overview

All Health Counselling Ltd is excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position is based out of Purcellville, Virginia, and involves providing direct clinical therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Work Environment

Regular team meetings (held virtually) will provide ongoing support, training, and collaboration opportunities among colleagues dedicated to the field of mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to meet the individual needs of clients.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring measurable goals are established and evaluated throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Act as an advocate for clients by connecting them with vital community resources such as financial assistance, housing support, and other social services that can enhance their quality of life.
  • Conduct crisis intervention as needed for clients presenting with acute mental health issues, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate strategies to address suicidal ideation, substance abuse, or trauma responses.
  • Engage in community education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.
  • Maintain meticulous electronic records, including case documentation and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations as well as state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities through mentorship, fostering both clinical and personal growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse client population that may include individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, end-of-life concerns, and other mental health challenges requiring compassionate support. You will play a crucial role in providing care to those in hospice settings, enabling clients and their families to navigate the emotional complexities associated with serious health conditions.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, emphasizing clinical practicum experience.
  • A valid Virginia License (LCSW) enabling you to practice independently and effectively.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, demonstrating cultural competency and sensitivity toward diverse populations.
  • Proven experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure effective interactions with clients and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of clinical social work experience.
