Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney. The attorney will manage and defend Workers' Compensation claims, provide legal advice, conduct legal research, and engage in negotiations. Daily tasks include court appearances, drafting legal documents, collaborating and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing case-specific defense strategies.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation Law and Labor and Employment Law
  • Proven ability to provide sound legal advice and conduct thorough legal research
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • 2+ years experience in Workers' Compensation defense preferred
