As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations for couples and families, allowing for individualized treatment planning.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with families, ensuring each family member is heard and their concerns are addressed through both group and individual therapy.
• Specializing in addressing various issues such as alcohol abuse, communication difficulties, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and more.
• Developing tailored therapeutic interventions based on each family's unique dynamics and challenges, contributing to improved emotional and relational well-being.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care and enhance treatment methods.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to ethical standards within a telehealth workflow.

Your practice will involve a diverse range of patients, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will work with families who are facing issues such as separation and divorce, blended family dynamics, job stress, medical challenges, and more. Your driving motivation will be to empower clients and families to navigate their mental health journeys effectively, fostering resilience and offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

While recent graduates are welcome to apply, preference will be given to those with prior clinical experience in family therapy settings. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and interventions will be highly regarded.
