• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each client’s unique mental health needs, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to address a wide array of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure clients receive cohesive and integrated care.
• Offer crisis intervention as needed, employing your expertise to de-escalate situations and provide immediate emotional support to clients in distress.
• Engage in educational outreach initiatives within the community, working to demystify mental health topics and promote resources available for those in need.

As a therapist at Sharp Wellness Clinic, your clients will include a diverse group from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your role will enable you to appreciate and address the unique experiences of each individual, fostering a more nuanced understanding of mental health complexities. This experience will enhance your clinical skills and cultural sensitivity.

• Possession of a valid and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master’s degree or doctorate in an accredited program in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication abilities to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage effectively multiple cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and understanding necessary to work successfully with a diverse client population.

• Experience with mental health treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is highly desired.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention or working in addiction recovery environments, particularly within detox centers, will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation systems to provide comprehensive care in a virtual setting.
