This remote role offers professionals the chance to engage in meaningful therapeutic practices while directly impacting the lives of individuals, couples, and families. Our ideal candidate is committed to fostering healthy relationships and helping clients navigate through life's challenges with understanding and support.

About the Organization

Chrysalis Health Counseling is committed to providing high-quality mental health services to our community. We aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where clients can feel safe to express themselves and work through their difficulties. Our team employs a diverse array of evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. We believe in empowering our therapists to utilize their skills and passions to develop creative solutions for each client.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your daily schedule while ensuring that our clients receive consistent and compassionate care. The outpatient setting provides opportunities for therapists to connect with a diverse client base, utilizing telehealth solutions to maintain accessibility and continuity of care. Regular team meetings and collaborative approaches are essential for fostering a strong team dynamic and sharing best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, establishing rapport and trust while developing a treatment plan tailored to their individual goals.
  • Employ various therapeutic modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, or Family Systems Therapy) to address issues including but not limited to trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship conflicts.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages open communication and reflects an understanding of each client's unique background and challenges.
  • Document all therapeutic interventions and progress notes in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  • Engage in regular supervision and collaborative discussions with other mental health professionals to provide a well-rounded approach to client treatment.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
  • Participate actively in ongoing professional development, seeking to expand knowledge and skills in areas relevant to current treatment challenges and community needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed therapist at Chrysalis Health Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various obstacles in their lives. Our client population spans different demographics and backgrounds, which enriches the therapeutic experience and requires an adaptable and culturally competent approach. During your time with us, you will have the chance to focus on specific areas of interest, such as adolescent therapy, trauma-informed care, or couples counseling.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice as an LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical assessments, treatment planning, and effective therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborative efforts and documentation.
  • Ability to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship while navigating complex emotional dynamics among clients.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of direct experience in a clinical or counseling setting, showcasing a history of successful interventions and client outcomes.
  • Experience applying various treatment modalities to address specific client issues.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continued education and training, ensuring your ongoing professional growth and well-being.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Chrysalis Health Counseling, we prioritize the growth and development of our team members. We support continued education and specialization in areas of interest, while providing paths for advancement into supervisory roles or specialized therapeutic disciplines relevant to your aspirations. Regular training sessions are conducted to keep staff up-to-date with best practices in the field, enhancing clinical skills and therapeutic approaches.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Chrysalis Health Counseling, you become part of a compassionate and forward-thinking community dedicated to mental health advocacy. Our culture emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and a commitment to client-centered care. If you are a licensed LMFT eager to make a profound impact in the lives of others while working within a supportive network of professionals, we encourage you to apply.
