Position Overview

Zenith's Mental Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a profound impact in the lives of clients. As a licensed therapist, you will utilize telehealth technologies to provide high-quality mental health support and guidance to individuals navigating various mental health challenges.

About the Organization

Zenith's Mental Health Solutions is committed to fostering a supportive environment where mental health is prioritized. Based in San Joaquin, California, we specialize in providing tailored mental health care to adults with varying needs. Our mission is to empower individuals to improve their mental well-being, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. We value collaboration, diversity, and a client-centered approach that prioritizes the needs of those we serve.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to create a work-life balance that suits your personal needs while maintaining professional responsibilities. Operating through a telehealth facility, our counselors engage with clients in one-on-one video chat sessions. The remote work setting ensures that you can conduct your practice effectively while accessing a wealth of online resources and organizational support.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve a range of responsibilities aimed at assessing and treating clients' mental health needs:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments during video sessions to understand client histories and current mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to open up about their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships to foster deeper self-awareness.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that adhere to best practices and therapeutic frameworks, focusing on solution-based approaches informed by your clinical expertise.
  • Monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective care and support throughout the therapeutic journey.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals when necessary to enhance the continuity of care and comprehensive wellness strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on adults experiencing stable and low-acuity mental health conditions. Clients may seek assistance for a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, or life transitions. Your expertise will help these individuals develop the skills necessary for improving their quality of life and building healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • An active and independent license as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for telehealth services, with strong computer literacy skills.
Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are necessary, additional experience in areas such as crisis intervention, group therapy, or specific therapeutic modalities (like CBT or DBT) may enhance your effectiveness in the role. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate disposition will also greatly contribute to your success as a counselor.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, aligned with your experience and the number of client hours worked. In addition, recognized full-time counselors will receive:

  • A monthly healthcare stipend to support your medical and wellness needs.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Zenith's Mental Health Solutions, we prioritize the professional development of our team. You will have access to ongoing training sessions, workshops, and opportunities for continuing education in various therapeutic methods. As we expand our services, there will be opportunities for advancement within the organization, allowing you to take on leadership roles or specialized positions.
