Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions using telehealth platforms to address the diverse needs of clients.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments, including gathering relevant patient history and determining treatment goals tailored to individual needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that integrate therapeutic approaches and techniques.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes as per HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to provide coordinated and holistic care for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training and learning to enhance counseling skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include working with individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, particularly those coping with conditions such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other complex needs. You will be instrumental in delivering compassion-driven care, offering emotional support as clients navigate their challenges. By understanding each client's unique circumstances, you will help them build resilience, establish safety plans, and create pathways toward recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally within a telehealth setting.
• Proficient knowledge of various therapeutic techniques, including grief counseling and addiction counseling methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health context.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices and counseling technologies.
• Experience dealing with diverse client populations and delivering culturally competent care.

Compensation and Benefits
