Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and create tailored treatment plans designed to address the specific needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Engage in collaborative consultation with interdisciplinary teams to develop pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, alongside behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans.
• Complete all documentation promptly and in accordance with regulatory standards to maintain compliance and continuity of care.
• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes to ensure that our services uphold the highest standards.
• Serve as a liaison with state agencies and community partners to advocate for clients and facilitate access to necessary resources.
• Establish and foster open lines of communication within the organization and with external stakeholders to achieve contract standards and further the mission of Neuro Health Care Clinic.
• Engage in professional development by attending relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions, which will enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of mental health.
• Contribute positively to the clinic’s mission and values, promoting a culture of compassion and service among clients and staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall success of the team and clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with diverse populations, including individuals facing emotional health challenges, those recovering from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. This role focuses on understanding and addressing the unique experiences and needs of each client while supporting their journey toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Current independent LMHC license to practice is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient counseling settings with a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention methodologies and developing treatment plans for complex cases.
• Experience working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
