Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address the mental health needs of clients, ensuring that their emotional and psychological well-being are prioritized.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, tailored specifically to each client's circumstances, goals, and treatment preferences.
• Conduct regular therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate progress and recovery.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand treatments, available resources, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals battling substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. In particular, there will be an emphasis on providing support to elderly clients who may face additional challenges related to aging, which requires specialized understanding and approaches to mental health care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical settings, particularly with elderly populations, and an understanding of the unique mental health issues they face.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to client engagement.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice, focusing on mental health and substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with remote therapy tools and platforms to facilitate effective virtual sessions.
• Experience in developing treatment plans and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
