Job description

UW Health is seeking a RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a job in Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Work Schedule:
80% FTE, days. 4 days per week. Day off varies based on operational need. Flexible start times between 7:00 am and 8:30 am. Weekend and holiday rotation included. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Pay:

  • Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position 

  • This position may be eligible for up to a $8,000 sign on bonus

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to:

  • Serve as the patient’s nutrition advocate.
  • Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients of varying acuity levels including management of enteral nutrition initiation and advancement, per the nutrition related protocols.
  • Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Education:

  • Minimum - Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Preferred - Master’s Degree in Nutrition or related field

Work Experience:

  • Minimum - One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience
  • Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum –

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin

Preferred –

  • Certified specialist as required for the position or ability to complete within the first two years of employment
  • Maintain CPR certification
