Title: Commercial HVAC Tech OR HVAC Journeyman Tech with Boiler & Chiller experience

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced HVAC Tech with Boiler / Chiller Tech experience needed
  • Troubleshoot & repair Air & Cooled water Chillers up to 700 tons 1280's ABB VFD's, RTU's, VAV,
  • Providing excellent customer service, overseeing installation, troubleshooting, problem solving, diagnosing and replacement recommendations for both boiler and chiller systems. Maintaining a service schedule, and checking safety PM & repair
  • Focus is on commercial and industrial clients, executing comprehensive service & safety
  • Boiler room electrical and mechanical systems, and feedwater systems. boiler / burner combustion analysis troubleshooting
  • Chiller refrigerant leak testing, operational inspections, coil cleaning, tube bruising and descaling. Oil Analysis and filter changes. Refrigerant & Vibration analysis, Eddy current analysis, Starter and VDF service, Refrigerant recovery and distillation
  • Lead & train newer technicians in both boiler / chiller service & maintenance


Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience with Commercial Boiler and Chiller Systems
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and maintain & repair various types of burners including, Raypak, Milwaukee, Copper Finn Fireye, Honeywell, Auto-flame, Nexus and Cleaver Brooks.
  • Will need to be skilled in high / low steam and hot water boilers that are not 90% efficient
  • Chiller experience with scroll and screw air cooled chillers up to 500 tons. Technicians should have their own hand tools and a valid driver's license.
  • Lift & move un to 75 lbs and work from heights
  • Boiler Operator and refrigeration license preferred
