Pharmacy Technician I - Ambulatory Retail (Radnor Pharmacy)
Location: Radnor, PA
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift with Saturday rotations | Closed Sundays
Work Environment: Onsite with free parking

Role Summary
  • As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will support prescription processing, patient assistance, and coordination with pharmacists and clinic teams to ensure safe, efficient medication access. You will play a vital role in helping patients and Penn Medicine employees receive accurate, timely prescriptions while contributing to a high-quality care experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and fill prescriptions under pharmacist direction, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collect medication histories and assist in coordinating insurance requirements, patient payments, and benefit investigations.
  • Communicate proactively with clinical teams to resolve coverage issues and support seamless medication access.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, social workers, and specialty pharmacy staff to ensure complete and accurate documentation for reimbursement.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clinic partners, and Penn Medicine employees.
  • Support all myPennPharmacy services as needed.
  • Uphold Penn Medicine values, policies, and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • PA State Registered Technician - (Required)
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT (Required)

Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment (strongly preferred).
  • Prior ambulatory retail or mail-order pharmacy experience a plus.
