Shop / Radiator Technician

Location: Tucson, AZ Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Shop / Radiator Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual with strong mechanical ability, familiarity with tools and shop equipment, and experience working with engine cooling components. The successful candidate will be capable of disassembling, servicing, diagnosing, rebuilding, and reassembling cooling groups and radiator assemblies with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and reassemble cooling groups including radiators, CACs, oil coolers, fan shrouds, and related components

  • Perform inspections, cleaning, testing, minor repairs, and component replacement

  • Diagnose cooling system issues and verify proper reassembly and operation

  • Operate shop tools and equipment safely and effectively

  • Follow work orders, build sheets, and quality control procedures

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace

  • Work independently or with team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements — Must Have
  • Hands-on mechanical background (shop, diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial experience preferred)

  • Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment

  • Ability to confidently disassemble and reassemble cooling groups and mechanical assemblies

  • Strong understanding of component identification, fitment, and hardware installation

  • Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, and build specs

  • Attention to detail and pride in accurate workmanship

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience with radiator repair, cleaning, or rebuilds

  • Diesel or heavy-equipment shop experience
