We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Pro Balanced Body Rehab. Located in Beaverton, Oregon, our full-time PTA will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care in an onsite hospital setting. In this position, you will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement personalized treatment plans that enhance patients' rehabilitation journey, aiding them in regaining their strength, mobility, and independence.

As a PTA at our hospital-based rehabilitation clinic, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative setting alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses. Our facility is designed to facilitate optimal patient recovery, featuring state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and tools that enhance the therapeutic process. You will engage with patients in a hands-on manner and participate in daily interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.

• Assist Physical Therapists in designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgical procedures, and sports-related injuries.
• Provide direct therapeutic interventions, which may include exercise therapy, manual therapy techniques, and functional mobility training tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Educate patients on essential body mechanics, posture correction, and effective home exercise programs to promote self-management and long-term recovery progress.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, under the guidance of Physical Therapists to enhance treatment effectiveness and patient comfort.
• Continuously monitor and document patient responses to interventions and progress, updating treatment protocols as necessary in compliance with facility standards and state regulations.
• Collaborate actively with Physical Therapists, doctors, and other team members to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care that fosters optimal recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to adhere to state compliance standards, ensuring a thorough account of patient treatments and progress.

This role focuses on working with a diverse range of patients, primarily those with orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation needs, and those undergoing recovery from sports-related injuries. You will work closely with individuals of all ages, requiring a gentle and adaptable approach to treatment that addresses each patient's specific challenges and goals.

• An Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required for this position.
• Current, valid Oregon PTA license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is necessary to provide a solid foundation for delivering patient care effectively and confidently.

• Previous experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment enhancing team collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programming is highly beneficial for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with patients compassionately, fostering trust and motivation throughout their rehabilitation process.

The Physical Therapist Assistant position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
