Position Overview


Fiddler’s Creek is seeking a polished, hospitality-driven, and highly organized Racquet Sports Pro Shop Attendant to support the daily operations of our Tennis/Pickleball and Bocce program. This full-time, year-round position plays an important role in delivering an exceptional member experience through front-line service, court reservation management, retail support, event promotion, and pro shop organization.

The ideal candidate is professional, welcoming, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a private club environment where member service and presentation are a top priority.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Greet members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner

· Deliver a high level of hospitality and member service at all times

· Check members and guests in prior to court usage, lessons, clinics, and events

· Assist with booking, adjusting, and managing Tennis/ Pickleball and Bocce court reservations

· Answer phones/ emails, respond to member questions, and provide accurate information

· regarding court availability, programs, events, lessons, and clinics

· Support the Director of Racquet Sports with the daily operations of the racquet facility and pro shop

· Promote racquet sports events, socials, clinics, leagues, and tournaments

· Assist with the creation, editing, and distribution of flyers, signage, and promotional materials

· Process retail transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system

· Assist with the sale of apparel, paddles, racquets, accessories, and other merchandise

· Help with merchandise ordering, receiving, inventory tracking, pricing, stocking, and display presentation

· Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing pro shop

· Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs in a timely manner

· Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pro shop and racquet facility

· Support event preparation, registration, member check-in, and event breakdown

· Maintain accurate records related to reservations, member participation, sales, and inventory

· Help ensure club policies, reservation procedures, and racquet sports protocols are followed

· Communicate professionally with members, guests, team members, and other club departments

· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports

Qualifications

· Prior experience in hospitality, retail, front desk operations, private club service, or racquet sports preferred

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, polished, and service-oriented demeanor

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to take initiative and assist in solving day-to-day operational needs

· General knowledge of Tennis and Pickleball preferred

· Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a private club setting

· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods as needed

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Canva

· Comfortable learning and using court scheduling systems, reservation platforms, email, and point-of-sale software

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, and boxes as needed

· Ability to walk throughout the racquet facility and surrounding outdoor court areas

· Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor South Florida conditions

Schedule and Compensation

· Part-Time, summer position to Full-Time in season

· Expected schedule: 30 hours per week

· Compensation: $20.00 per hour
