We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Machine Operator position, joining our Nottingham, PA team!
  • SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
  • SHIFT: 4:30am-2:30pm
  • Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:
  • Must complete a background and pre-employment drug screen. As well as a preplacement screening which tests the ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • One to three months of related mechanical experience and/or training.
  • Ability to work with latex gloves, airborne seasoning, cardboard dust, cleaning solutions, and hot water.
  • Ability to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment.
  • Good balance on slippery surfaces.
  • Sustain concentration for up to 3 hours at a time.

Key Responsibilities
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operation of computerized weigh heads, Hayssen and TNA packaging machines, and Blueprint automatic case packers.
  • Observing machines to ensure the correct packaging film, product package weight, price, and code date are set correctly to obtain overall package integrity.
  • Prepare machines for production start-up, including changing rolls of packaging film and ink tape as necessary.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing plant and plant equipment including seasoning trays, machines, floors, ovens, etc.
  • Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
  • Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
  • Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
  • Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
  • Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
