Job Title Manager, GK POS Sr. Tech Lead

What You Will Learn:
This position will provide technical leadership as well as "hands-on" in development of GK Retail platform and its integration along with Level 3 based system support for L'Oreal 700 B2B Salon Centric store's operations. This position will drive the technology strategy for Salon Centric / GK landscape and ensure completion of development lifecycle of Retail IT projects in harmony with the requirements across other applications integrating with GK Omni POS.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day to day design and build activities including post-launch monitoring, from software maintenance to upgrading and improvement of GK POS application
  • Write and update source-code behind integrations to support real time (and file based) data exports and imports in and out of GK POS system
  • Lead the analysis, redesign, and implementation strategies for GK POS affected by the SAP NEO migration
  • Create detailed architectural roadmaps and documentation applicable to Salon Centric projects, outlining current and future states
  • Collaborate with the Integration Lead to design and validate new API-based integration approaches, and to ensure data consistency and accuracy in new workstreams
  • Manage product deliverables through development lifecycle from estimation to delivery and hypercare liaising with offshore development teams and ensuring consistent progress and quality
  • Exhibit flexibility and creativity in problem-solving, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Provide expert guidance on retail application functionality, data integrity, and system efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical details into business-relevant language
  • Actively promote and support transformation of the team to adapt to new agile ways of working and shifting focus to Product Oriented Development
  • Follow Project or Product Management methodology managing tasks and activities within the team displaying flexibility with either Agile, Waterfall methodologies or a hybrid
  • Collaborate with other zone and global L'Oreal teams on change management, vendor management and ensure timely delivery of various tasks, projects as well as Level 3 Support requests and incidents
  • Actively participate in business and technology planning sessions to identify future needs adhering to a technology strategy and delivery roadmaps, including Innovation
  • Handle multiple issues/tasks/projects of varying size simultaneously and effectively communicate status to stakeholders and management
  • Adhere to company's internal policies and initiatives including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Sustainability

What We Are Looking For:
Technical Proficiency:
  • Expert level of Systems' Architecture and IT Project Lifecycle
  • Mastery in GK Omni Point-Of Sales Platform / Solution (CEGID or other Point-Of Sale platforms experience is a big plus)
  • Expert level of SQL Server Development (PostgreSQL), including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Assemblies
  • Expert level of deploying integrations with ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4, P360)
  • Strong Design and Development of Web APIs (Rest and SOAP) employing OAuth2.0 authentication methods whenever possible.
  • Strong Experience with Batch, PowerShell, VB Scripting as well as Java Script and Python
  • Working experience with Business Intelligence applications, SQL based SSRS, SSIS or other ETL tools
  • Working Knowledge of VB.Net / C#.NET, Java Script, HTML
  • Working Knowledge in DevOps tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
  • Proficiency in creating technical documentation and building flow charts
  • Retail background or experience working in the Retail environment
  • Heavy background in Agile Transformation and POD formation is a big plus

Salary Range: $90,200 - $128,500 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
