This position is ideal for a podiatric surgeon who values teamwork and high-quality patient care. Our practice provides a full spectrum of services in a modern facility to diagnose and treat complex foot and ankle conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and surgical competencies, a passion for podiatric medicine, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. About the Area:
Batavia Foot Care Center is located in the charming city of Batavia, New York. Nestled between Buffalo and Rochester, Batavia offers a perfect blend of small-town charm and modern amenities. The community is known for its rich history, beautiful parks, and welcoming atmosphere - making it an excellent location for both professional and personal fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions.
  • Perform in-office and surgical procedures.
  • Manage wound care.
  • Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies (X-ray, labs, clinical findings).
  • Prescribe medications, orthotics, therapeutic shoes and therapy plans.
  • Educate patients on prevention, treatment options, and long-term care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers.

Schedule:

Requirements
  • Required: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DMP) from an accredited program
  • Required: Active NY podiatry license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABFAS in Ankle, Forefoot & Rearfoot
  • Required: Completed a Surgical Podiatry Residency
  • Ability to obtain: Unrestricted Federal DEA
  • Required: Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
