Job description

Summary:
The Steel Operator works directly with team members to support production initiatives. They perform duties such as set-up, operate, and tend various machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Operates specialty equipment which may include but is not limited to hand tools, grinders, presses, hydraulic shears, punches, saws, drills, and industrial rollers.
  2. Produce quality work that meets company expectations.
  3. Reports defective material questionable conditions to department supervisor.
  4. Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
  6. Satisfy the company attendance requirements.
  7. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
