Position Goal:
To support the school's mission by facilitating effective learning experiences in dual enrollment and credit recovery programs, while providing a structured and supervised environment for students to achieve academic success.
Qualifications:
1. Dual Credit Credentialing: A Bachelor's degree in specific content area, or a Master's degree in any field
combined with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the specific discipline taught.
2. Valid Teacher Certification with the appropriate secondary endorsement.
3. Computer literacy/Tech Savviness': Proficiency in navigating learning management systems (LMS) and credit recovery software.
4. Bilingual in Navajo and English but not required.
5. Experience working with at-risk students p
6. Any other qualifications deemed appropriate and acceptable by the Board.
7. Valid AZDPS Fingerprint card.
8. Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to motivate, advocate for, and build rapport with diverse learners and their families.

Salary:
- Salary will be determined according to the district's salary schedule.
Position Goal:
To support the school's mission by facilitating effective learning experiences in dual enrollment and credit recovery programs, while providing a structured and supervised environment for students to achieve academic success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate high school students self-paced via digital platforms by helping students
recover lost credits, while simultaneously instructing college-level courses that allow
students to earn high and college credits.
2. Progress Monitor and track student pacing and attendance to ensure they meet
graduation requirements on time.
3. Conduct learning experiences tailored for small groups of students who are enrolled
in dual-enrollment or credit recovery.
4. Assist in emergency situations by performing substitute duties as needed.
5. Supervise students during the regular school day as assigned.
6. Identify and communicate the special needs of individual students to appropriate
staff.
7. Provide escorts and assistance to students when necessary.
8. Maintain individual academic records for each student, including grades and progress
reports.
9. Guide students toward meeting graduation requirements through tailored support and
resources.
10. Assist in the translation of instructional materials and information in Navajo when
appropriate.
11. Monitor student progress in dual enrollment and credit recovery programs, and
Report to findings to the Principal, Assistant Principal, and Counselor as needed.
12. Foster a positive climate of learning, acceptance, and inclusivity in the classroom.
13. Accept and fulfill any other responsibilities or duties as assigned by the Principal or
Assistant Principal.
