Job description

MAIN FUNCTION:

The Mind-Body Zone Pilates Reformer Instructor is a key member of the Group Exercise and Programming Team within the Mind-Body Zone. The  instructor personally delivers Reformer classes at the highest level, to ensure a boutique-style class offering that provides the participants a world-class, highly motivating, and well-organized experience.  The ideal candidate will have a certification in Pilates Reformer and can lead dynamic apparatus focused workout routines using Balanced Body reformers with towers, ladder barrels and combo chairs.  We are looking for instructors with confidence in working with all levels of clients to provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED 

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Current Pilates Reformer and Mat Certifications: Equipment and apparatus
  • Minimum 3 years of Reformer teaching experience including but not limited to use of tower, combo chair, and barrel
  • Experience with privates and group classes
  • Intelligent, clear verbal cueing, and effective tactile cueing.
  • Certifications such as, but not limited to:  Specialty class instruction certifications, BLS/AED
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • No written disciplinary action within the last 12 months
  • Pass Background Check
