Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Automotive Inventory Photographer to support the marketing and inventory process across our dealership group. This role is responsible for photographing new and used vehicles as they arrive, ensuring consistent, high-quality visual representation for online platforms and internal systems. This is a critical step in our vehicle merchandising process and helps drive customer engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Photograph new and used vehicles upon arrival using company standards for angles, lighting, and consistency
  • Upload images promptly to our vehicle inventory management systems (e.g., vAuto, HomeNet, Dealer.com - platform will be trained if unknown)
  • Ensure each vehicle is clean and photo-ready before imaging
  • Stage vehicles in appropriate backgrounds (or designated photo booths/lots)
  • Maintain a consistent daily workflow to ensure fast vehicle turnaround
  • Re-shoot vehicles as needed due to weather, damage, or updates
  • Communicate with the inventory team to track incoming vehicles and prioritize shoots
  • Occasionally assist in basic image editing or cropping if necessary

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic photography knowledge preferred (professional camera experience a plus but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Able to move and stage vehicles safely (must have a valid driver's license)
