Starting rate of pay, with potential for more based on experience:

  • $ 45.00 for RN (ADN) - $46.00 (BSN) + bonus*
  • Shift differentials, for evening, weekend, and overnight shifts

* Current Retention Bonus for RN’s working full-time (40/hours) in Corvallis: $1500 in good standing at 3 months, another $1500 at 9 months, and at 18 months the remaining $3000. Amounts prorated based if working 30/hours week.

Now hiring: 30/hours week - Monday-Wednesday- 12:30pm to 10:30pm

Your Role:

Pediatric Mental Health Nurse in a residential facility:

  • Works with an interdisciplinary team to provide for the mental and physical needs of clients.
  • Meets with clients to identify and assess their developing physical needs, and utilizes the nursing process to respond to identified needs, both proactively and by request
  • Facilitates providers' orders:
    • works with external agencies (pharmacies, lab, hospitals) as needed
    • oversees medication administration process, including medication specialists
  • Participates in providing health education to clients and staff through individual/small groups informal communication, in-services and groups on various healthcare topics.
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives to monitor/ensure quality of care is maintained.

About You:

  • Have an unrestricted RN Oregon License, or anticipate licensure within a limited time frame.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely.
  • Approach employee and client interactions from a trauma-informed lens.
