Job description

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team of 2.5 full-time pediatric hospitalists and 2.5 pediatric intensivists. This role offers the opportunity to serve a diverse and complex patient population across multiple states in a highly regarded community hospital setting. The position provides a chance to collaborate with an established support network and offers opportunities for advancement and research within a vibrant community.

Practice Info

  • Join a team of 2.5 full-time pediatric hospitalists and 2.5 pediatric intensivists at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
  • Serve a diverse patient population spanning across multiple states and regions within a 10-bed pediatric unit.
  • Cater to a high-risk and complex patient population, covering a large catchment area.
  • Pediatric physician staff include both pediatric intensivists and neonatologists as part of the Pediatrix team.
  • Additional pediatric sub-specialists representing pediatric neurology, endocrinology, cardiology, surgery, and anesthesia.
  • Child life specialist, pediatric nutritionists, and physical therapists are available.

Responsibilities

  • Care for medical patients on the pediatric unit.
  • Consult on pediatric patients in the emergency department.
  • Consult on surgical patients.
  • Care for newborn infants who do not require NICU-level care.

Requirements

  • BC Pediatrics.
  • BC Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred but not required.
  • Experience preferred, but not required.
