Job description

Brown University Health is seeking a full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Dermatologist to join its growing academic faculty in Providence, Rhode Island. This outstanding opportunity offers a collaborative, academically focused environment for caring for pediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role involves clinical practice, teaching, and opportunities for research within a leading academic institution.

Practice Info

  • Practice in a collaborative, academically focused environment

  • Provide outpatient pediatric dermatology care in Brown Dermatology clinics
  • Perform inpatient and emergency department consultations at Hasbro Children's Hospital
  • Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital
  • Collaborate with pediatric specialists in multidisciplinary clinics, including the Vascular Anomalies Clinic and Dermatology-Genetics conferences

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient pediatric dermatology care in Brown Dermatology clinics
  • Perform inpatient and emergency department consultations at Hasbro Children's Hospital
  • Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital
  • Collaborate with pediatric specialists in multidisciplinary clinics, including the Vascular Anomalies Clinic and Dermatology-Genetics conferences
  • Supervise and educate Brown Dermatology residents, pediatric residents, neonatology fellows, medical students, and other trainees
  • Participate in academic conferences, didactic teaching, and scholarly activities
  • Participate in and lead clinical research and clinical trials

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, resident education, and patient-centered care
  • Interest in clinical research and multidisciplinary collaboration is preferred
