Description
Job Duties:
  • Developing highly specialized software that tests subway train subway systems including brakes, throttle control systems, radios, automatic doors, lighting, HVAC, and other electronic subsystems;
  • Analyzing complex electrical schematics in order to develop test plans that can identify faults to the ambiguity group level;
  • Developing communication interfaces to a variety of highly specialized train subsystems and software that emulates train subsystems behavior;
  • Customizing and configuring ATS-5000 test stations for each customer's unique requirements;
  • Architecting, designing, and implementing software solutions for complex, high- performance systems in collaboration with other engineering disciplines;
  • Analyzing schematics and advising engineers on electronic PCB testing methodologies;
  • Debugging and fixing issues in test program sets (TPS) and test instrumentation;
  • Designing, authoring, and conducting internal and external training sessions and prepare materials for the same.
  • Research and development of Integration of AI assisted workflow to increase efficiency and reduce development time of Applications.
  • Using MCP Server, React, Langchain, Python, OpenAI, and FastAPI for backend development.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field plus seven (7) years of experience in job offered or relevant field.
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
  • Must have at least seven (7) years of experience with the following:
  • Schematic analysis and development of test methodologies;
  • TestStand, LabVIEW, C#, Python;
  • Instrumentation (PXI, LXI, and/or GPIB) and instruments like DMM, DAQ, SCOPE, Matrix switching, VNA, Spectrum analyzer, and/or XJTAG.
