DESCRIPTION
Pete Pappas & Sons, Inc. is a fourth generation owned and operated re-packer and wholesaler of fresh fruit and vegetables, specializing in tomatoes and strawberries. WORK HOURS:
  • Monday - Friday 5:00am- 3:00pm or until completion and Saturdays 10:00am until close (off on Sunday and one other day during the week based on business needs)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for receiving, unpacking, verifying and moving goods into storage areas by cutting string, breaking down products, removing all items off floor, leveling product in slots.
  • Identifying damaged product.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area for shipping department.

Must Have Rider Pallet Jack and/or Forklift / Stand-Up Reach Experience.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have the physical ability to lift and stack heavy loads, approximately 50 lbs frequently.
  • Must have the physical ability to withstand moving product by hand from one place to another up to 72" high and as low as 12".
  • Electric Rider Pallet jack experience required
  • Must have the physical ability to read labels efficiently.
  • Must have the physical ability to hear and follow instructions
  • Must have basic math skills and be able to do basic math in your head.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must Have Rider Pallet Jack and/or Forklift / Stand-Up Reach Experience.
