These roles are often found in industries that operate 24/7, such as healthcare, security, hospitality, and manufacturing. Employees in full-time overnight positions usually work 35-40 hours per week and may receive additional pay known as a 'shift differential' for working overnight hours. The work schedules can vary, but generally, overnight shifts start around 10 p.m. and end around 6 or 7 a.m. These jobs suit individuals who prefer or are able to work outside traditional daytime hours.
