Position Type: Contract to Full-time hire
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Shift: 1st shift
About the Role:
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a qualified and safety-conscious overhead crane operator with steel warehouse experience to join a leading distributor of wide flange beams and structural steel tubing—one of the largest in the U.S. This position is perfect for experienced overhead crane operators ready to take on a vital role in a fast-paced industrial environment, with opportunities for career growth and permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an overhead crane operator to move, stack, and organize steel beams and materials within a steel yard internal warehouse.
  • Load and unload materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct routine daily inspections of crane equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Read and utilize measurement tools such as tape measures to ensure precise handling of materials.
  • Review and interpret shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork to accurately build and verify loads.
  • Assist with other warehousing tasks as needed, contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds, following proper safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Valid and recent certification for heavy-duty, industrial equipment.
  • Recent experience operating large-capacity cranes and forklifts in a similar setting such as a steel or lumber yard.
  • NCCCO Certification preferred, but not required
  • Ability to read tape measures and interpret technical paperwork.
  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
