About our Team:

Our Global Security team is dedicated to protecting Micron employees, executives, and business operations from emerging physical and digital threats. Through intelligence gathering, risk assessment, and cross-functional partnerships, the team proactively identifies and mitigates risks associated with the public exposure of personal information.

Position Overview:

The OSINT Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating publicly exposed personal information related to designated employees and executives. This role applies open-source intelligence techniques, digital risk monitoring, and remediation processes to reduce exposure, support executive protection efforts, and enhance organizational security.

  • Assess the severity of identified exposures and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, threat likelihood, and business impact.

  • Submit, track, and manage removal, de-indexing, and suppression requests across search engines, data broker sites, people-search platforms, and social media channels.

  • Monitor for the reappearance of previously removed information and perform ongoing digital footprint reviews for high-risk individuals.

  • Partner with Legal, Human Resources, Executive Protection, and Security teams to investigate and raise credible threats, harassment campaigns, and doxxing incidents.

  • Maintain thorough case documentation, investigation records, and reporting in compliance with privacy regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.

  • Develop and enhance repeatable OSINT methodologies, monitoring capabilities, and reporting metrics to improve program effectiveness and response times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in open-source intelligence (OSINT), investigations, threat assessment, corporate security, or a related subject area.

  • Prior experience in military, law enforcement, intelligence community, or comparable investigative environments.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSINT tools, research methodologies, data broker ecosystems, and search engine indexing practices.

  • Experience working with privacy regulations and personal data removal processes, including CCPA, GDPR, or similar frameworks.

  • Strong written communication skills with experience producing investigative reports, case documentation, and executive-level summaries.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential, and highly restricted information with discretion and sound judgment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting executive protection, insider threat, or corporate security programs within a large enterprise environment.

  • Professional certification such as OSINT Certified Analyst (OCA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or equivalent intelligence/security credential.

  • Experience using commercial digital risk protection, online monitoring, or personal data removal platforms.

  • Knowledge of digital threat intelligence, online harassment investigations, or account impersonation monitoring.

  • Experience collaborating with Legal, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders on risk mitigation initiatives.

  • Familiarity with threat monitoring, social media investigations, and digital footprint reduction strategies.
