You will play a key role in supporting staff, driving continuous quality improvement, and fostering positive relationships with patients, families, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders.

- Lead, coach, and mentor Clinical Supervisors in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to frontline nursing staff.

- Develop and manage the on-call schedule for Clinical Supervisors.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of Clinical Supervisors.
- Ensure staff complete all mandatory education and competency requirements.
- Support employee engagement, professional development, and succession planning.
- Respond to clinical concerns from staff, contractors, clients, families, and funding agencies.
- Participate in care conferences with healthcare teams, funders, and community partners.
- Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare organizations.
- Demonstrate respect for cultural diversity, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality in every interaction.
- Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing education, professional networks, and conferences.
- Promote evidence-based clinical practice across the organization.
- Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of formal nursing leadership experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience as an RN in a community healthcare setting.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of Alberta healthcare legislation and professional standards, including:
- Mental Health Act
- Substitute Decisions Act
- Health Care Consent legislation
- Privacy and Personal Health Information legislation
- Working knowledge of community nursing best practices, including:
- Palliative Care
- Wound Care
- IV Therapy
- Chronic Disease Management
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and healthcare information systems.
- Current Canadian First Aid and CPR certification (issued within the past 12 months).
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license.
- Reliable, fully insured vehicle available for work-related travel.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support operational requirements.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
