Full Time Temporary Assistant Teaching Professor Position(s) in the Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics at Rowan University is seeking to hire one or more faculty in Full Time Temporary Assistant Teaching Professor positions in Mathematical Sciences or closely related fields.
A PhD degree in Mathematical Sciences or a related discipline is expected; candidates with Master's degrees will be considered.
Successful candidates must have a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and contributions to the University and profession through service activities. The Department of Mathematics, the College of Science & Mathematics, and Rowan University are dedicated to building a culturally diverse faculty and especially encourage applications from women and individuals from underrepresented groups in higher education.
The positions are 10-month, with the appointment of 2 years, and include benefits. Successful candidates will teach a total of 24 credits over two semesters, with the option to teach overload and summer classes for additional compensation.
The Department of Mathematics is one of six departments in the College of Science & Mathematics and offers the B.A. in Mathematics, B.S. in Mathematics, B.S. in Data Science, M.A. in Mathematics, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Data Science.
