We are seeking an Oiler/Greaser to be located at our production facility in Spanish Fork, UT. At WestRock we believe in "Winning Together" through Integrity, Respect, Accountability & Excellence, to serve our Customers, Co-Workers, Investors, Suppliers, and Communities.
A typical day in the life of Oiler/Greaser will be working with our maintenance department to service the plant machinery. Learn proper machinery lubrication practices and complete lubrication routes on all plant equipment. Maintain lubricant inventory levels, track lubricant usage to machine centers, ensure proper storage and handling of lubricants, and maintain a well-organized lubricant storage area. Follow and ensure completion of lubrication routes utilizing digital maintenance records. Assist maintenance technicians on other projects as required. Outstanding performance in this position, may allow further advancement into the maintenance department.

What you need to succeed:
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to keep accurate records
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attendance
  • Must be able to work overtime, 12 hours, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Take ownership of the lubrication receiving, storage, handling, and application
  • Familiar with machine centers
  • Able to read and understand machine diagrams and lubrication orders
  • Willing to train and become Machinery Lubrication Technician Certified by ICML
  • Assist maintenance with other projects aside from lubrication duties
  • Utilize digital lubrication point tracking on maintenance tablets
  • Track lubricant inventory and communicate ordering needs to purchasing staff
  • Work with Reliability manager to improve machinery lubrication routes
  • Complete oil sampling routes, package, and ship oil samples for laboratory testing
  • Operate a forklift
  • Complete DOT HazMat training
  • Other duties as assigned
