Job description

A startup backed by tier-1 US VCs and industry leaders is looking for exceptional Offensive Security Engineers with a strong background in low-level systems work and offensive security. You'll build production systems that conduct AI-driven vulnerability research and exploit development at scale, and are utilized at the center of western cyber operations. Due to the type of role, all candidates must be eligible for security clearances.
Ideal candidates have at least 2+ YOE in cybersecurity engineering as well as deep low-level systems experience, such as operating system internals, kernel work, runtime detection, dynamic analysis, and/or dynamic interception. You must be comfortable owning systems end to end and working in a startup environment, where you'll wear multiple hats and have the autonomy to drive ownership and navigate ambiguity.
This role is onsite in Washington DC, 5 days a week. Full relocation support is provided.

  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
  • Deep low-level systems experience, such as operating system internals, kernel work, runtime detection, dynamic analysis, and/or dynamic interception

  • Experience with vulnerability research, CTF, or offensive security
  • Engineering experience at xAI, Anthropic, Scale, Palantir, or similar high-bar AI companies
  • All candidates must be eligible for security clearance
The Offer
You will receive the following benefits:
