Job description

Job Title: Structural Engineer (Semiconductor Plant Project) – Mid to Senior Level

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Taylor, TX

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our design team for the Semiconductor plant project in Taylor, Texas. This role focuses on the structural design and analysis of large-scale industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in complex building systems and long-span structures.

Experience with semiconductor display FABs, or similar high-tech manufacturing

environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structural Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design for large-scale

industrial buildings, including complex steel and reinforced concrete structures

  • Documentation Compliance: Prepare and review structural drawings,

specifications, and calculation reports to ensure code compliance, stability,

technical accuracy, and constructability.

  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, Process

Engineering teams to optimize structural solutions for heavy equipment loads and

vibration control

  • Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all designs comply with the latest applicable U.S.

codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI etc.) and local Texas regulations

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews and provide structural stability assessments for various construction phases

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural

Engineering, or Architectural engineering.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in structural design for heavy

industrial or commercial projects.

  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required: Texas PE registration (or ability to obtain via comity) is highly preferred.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding and practical experience with

building regulations and construction sequencing.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for effectively

interacting with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills; Assets (Plus)

  •  Advanced Licensure: Structural Engineer (SE) License

  •  Software Proficiency: Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit)

  •  Industry Experience: Prior experience with high-tech manufacturing facilities (e.g., semiconductor or display FABs).

  •  Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency; the ability to read and speak Korean is

preferred.
